For parents and guardians

Gift Profile for kids

A parent or guardian creates and manages a Child Gift Profile for a child under 13, with current interests, sizes, Personal Gift Picks, and Cherry Picks. Teens 13 and older can create their own Cherry account.

How a Child Gift Profile works

You create and update the profile from your Cherry account, then share it when you are ready.

  1. 1

    Create their profile

Use a first name or nickname. Add what they’re into, their current sizes, and anything friends should skip.

  2. 2

    Review their Cherry Picks

Keep the Cherry Picks that fit and add a Personal Gift Pick when there is something specific to share.

  3. 3

    Share with family and friends

Send the link to family and friends. They can shop without an account and mark gifts purchased to help avoid duplicates.

Ready to make your own?

Questions about Gift Profiles?

Does my child need a Cherry account?

No. A parent or guardian creates and manages the Child Gift Profile from their own Cherry account.

Who can open a Child Gift Profile?

When sharing is on, people with the shared link can view the gift ideas and picks. The parent or guardian can make the profile private.

Is a child’s birthday shown to shoppers?

No. Cherry uses the birthday to provide an age-appropriate experience, but the birthday and the parent’s contact details are not shown on the shared Gift Profile.
